Sharp ER-3250

An extremely flexible ECR, the ER-3250 features a free keyboard layout and the convenience of 30 departments, expandable to 99, and PLUs, expandable 15,000. Cash Accountability is by the Till Timer(tm) that alerts you when the Cash Sentinel function, monitors the cash in drawer. Add other convenience features such as 3 PLU levels and 4 automatic tax calculations and you get and ECR that meets your business needs.

A Standard 30 Departments, Expandable to 99

The ER-3250's departments can be expanded from 30 up to 99, accommodating both large and small establishments. The department function also provides managers with gross margin reporting, periodic or daily reports of results for individual department sales, useful for stock purchasing and determining floor layouts.

Programmable Tax Table*

Tax calculation is made easy by the ER-3250's four programmable tax tables. When specific departments and PLUs are entered during a transaction, they are classified and totaled according to the tax conditions programmed to them. At the completion of the transaction, the amount of tax is automatically calculated on the basis of the programmed tax tables.

Up to 99 Clerk Totals

Optional memory boosts the number of clerk totals to 99, making the ER-3250 ideal for busy establishments with a large number of clerks.

Currency Conversion Aids Tourist and Border Area Businessess

For businesses located in border or tourist areas, the convenient currency conversion key takes the worry out of dealing in foreign currency. Both the payment and charge due are calculated by a touch of this key. The subtotal can also be displayed in foreign currency after the sales entry or during tendering entry.

Slip Printer (Option)

An optional slip printer gives you the convenience of a detailed item-by-item General Ledger Card. In addition, an automatic line find feature speeds service.

Convenient Charge Posting System

The PB Look-UP Function offers an easy way to keep track of balances, Items can be rung up at any station, and sales information is recorded.

Convenience Options

Use the optional RS-232C interface to link your register to an external computer for uploading sales data or downloading price changes and other information. You can also use the optional communication port and in-line (IRC) capability to centralize control of sales information in stores with multiple cash registers - or do both! An optional Slip Printer (with automatic line locater) can facilitate check preparation, give your patrons the courtesy of a detailed item-by-item receipt, and speed up transaction throughput. The optional coin dispenser gives your customer the accurate change while speeding up the transaction process.

The addition of a scale, which automatically sends the correct weights to the register, can add new dimensions to your ability to sell many different types of weighted items ... from fruit to nails!
